Our flagship event for over thirty years, the Bidwell Classic has showcased the beauty of Lower Bidwell Park in early spring.
Independence Day 5K
Each July Fourth, CRC teams up with the Chico Area Recreation District (C.A.R.D.) to bring you a fun, low-key 5K in Lower Bidwell Park.
Almond Bowl
Like the Bidwell Classic, this 10K/5K is well into its fourth decade. The first Sunday of each November gives runners and walkers the opportunity

Rent our Timing Equipment
CRC has a large supply of equipment useful for putting on running and walking events, and it is available for rental. Gear includes pylons, mile markers, timing devices, and much more.
Rental requires a $150 nonrefundable fee and, depending on the amount and value of equipment borrowed, proof of insurance coverage against equipment loss and damage. To make a reservation, Email us with the date of your event, the name of the event, and the equipment you need."
